March 2008

To give something back to the WordPress community I’ve decided to share my wordpress theme “as is” including the artwork I’ve created for the header above. You can modify this for your own website if you wish of course and I do not have problems with you modifying any of the images included in the download.

This theme is compatible with WordPress 2.7.1 – note there is nothing special about the theme really and it should work with any older version too.

Note that this is a very simplified (TRUE SINGLE COLUMN!) theme without a sidebar. This theme is optimized to show fairly large resolution images within the content frame without the use of gallery plugins. It is ideal for portfolios but does require some knowledge of code. I’ve stuck with this layout for a while and even though it requires some coding the finished look is exactly what I’ve wanted my website to look like. If you tend to blog a lot (and write huge paragraphs) I suggest modifying your “content” tags in the style.css file to your liking.

Instructions on how to install the theme:

  1. Download the theme to your computer.
  2. Extract the files and go into the e7 directory.
  3. Open the header.php file and edit it to your liking so that your links will go at the top!
  4. Open up the footer.php file and take a look, you may want to edit links and make the theme compatible with wp-stats.
  5. Once you’re done modifying upload the theme to the wp-content/themes/ directory on your server.
  6. In your dashboard navigate to the “Appearance” section and then select the theme.
  7. If you get any errors please CONTACT ME so that I can fix them!
  8. If you are planning to use this theme for a portfolio similar to me you’ll have to manually code links and insert images, I have not found good plugin yet…

Thanks for checking out the theme, I hope it works for you!

This image is 100% digital and created in Photoshop.

Not all the creatures in Hell are created equal, but Abominations are ranked only below Demonlords and the most powerful Devils. The thing which makes Abominations easily recognizable is their intimate connection to flesh. Oftentimes they are twisted, have multiple limbs, grotesque appearance and in rare cases multiple Abominations have been known to merge into a single demonic entity.

Not all demons are made of flesh and most Demonlords are purely elemental (beings of pure magic and energy) but Abominations not only crave the suffering of flesh but can experience the same pleasure and pain all other creatures made of flesh can experience.

This is a pencil and charcoal sketch, about 4 hours of work.

This is a digital painting I made of a concept drawn by a fellow artist called Clan Lord.

Kate Moss is one of my favorite crack whores, but at some point in her life she was the manifestation of Supermodel. When you’re up that high the crash is very resounding as you’re brought back down to the realm of the mortals…

This is a digital painting, I used a black and white photograph as a reference.

This has also become one of the most popular images I’ve drawn and since I have been using it as a desktop background on my computer I’ve decided to offer it up for others using a widescreen monitor and 1920×1200 resolution. Click Here for the Kate Moss Wallpaper

Here is another image of a hot fitness babe known as Kendra Elias. This girl is also apparently known as Kendra Venus but I think most recognize her as Elias.

The image is digital – I used a photograph of her as a reference.

Daenerys is one of the main characters from the Ice and Fire series written by George R. R. Martin. She is also known as the Mother of Dragons. I tried to depict the scene immediately after the dragons are hatched at the end of A Game of Thrones.

Daenerys Targaryen

This is a pencil drawing which I colored digitally – at this stage I’m extremely unhappy with this image. I made a lot of classic mistakes when making this but sadly I usually have to learn by making mistakes. I might make more updates to it but at this stage I might also be done.

I saw a photo of this model in a magazine and made the following pencil sketch quickly, I’m not sure who the girl was but she was cool looking and the drawing turned out well.

Sketch of a Model

As usual the best drawings turn out when you go quickly and don’t make a point of trying too hard.

This was a sketch of a Victoria’s Secret bikini girl I made sometime in September 2006. It’s one of the better drawings I made at the time so I felt like showcasing it here again.

This is one of my favorite fantasy characters from the series “A Song of Ice and Fire” written by George R. R. Martin. For those unfamiliar with Martin’s series who consider themselves fans of fantasy … you should read it!

Tyrion Lannister

This is currently a work in progress – I intend to paint this image digitally. More updates will come soon… I hope!
